The current COVID-19 crisis still has a tight grip on countries all over the world. In order to shed light on this novel virus the Ean Neuro-covid ReGistrY (ENERGY) was initiated to gather and provide comprehensive information on a pan-European level.
So far, more than 230 healthcare facilities in 67 countries have requested to join and several sites have started adding data to the ENERGY database. Of interest to this initiative are both prospective and retrospective approaches, including pediatric neurological data in this matter.
Through collective participation and collaboration, it we will be able to provide a vital resource for neurologists and other clinicians and thereby improve care for COVID-19 patients. Thus, the ENERGY initiative is working in tight collaboration with Neurocritical Care Society, as well as with WHO, WFN, AFAN, AAN to foster synergies.
