A) Requirements for a BNS research prize 2024:
i) Junior BNS members (≤ 35 years old on September 30, 2024) can apply with a full length paper that has been accepted in 2023 or 2024 for publication in an international journal. Submitted papers will be scored based on methodology and originality. Review papers are not allowed, but systematic reviews will be considered.
ii) Only applications of BNS members will be considered. Non-members can apply for membership of the society by sending a CV to the BNS administration and by paying the membership fee, before sending in the application for the research prize.
iii) The applicant should be first or senior author. iv) Winners of the BNS research prizes 2023 cannot apply in 2024. These eligibility criteria will be applied strictly. The final accepted version of this work or a proof of acceptance in case the work is still in press should be submitted to the BNS ExCo by email to the BNS administration (bns@neuro.be), together with a motivation letter and a CV. The deadline for submission is September 30, 2024 (midnight). A maximum of four prizes of 500€ each will be awarded. The winners of the research prizes will be invited to give a pitch presentation at the symposium of 30 NOV 2024.

B) Requirements for a Clinical/Research Fellowship for Young Investigators 2024:
i) Junior BNS members (≤ 35 years old on September 30, 2024) can apply with a proof of acceptance for a Clinical or a Research Fellowship from the hosting institution, a CV and a motivation letter including how he/she intends to spend the fellowship budget, and other funding you have applied for. These documents should be sent by email to the BNS administration (bns@neuro.be).
ii) Only applications of BNS members will be considered. Non-members can apply for membership of the society by sending a CV to the BNS administration and by paying the membership fee, before sending in the application for the Clinical/Research Fellowship for Young Investigators 2024. The deadline for submission is September 30, 2024 (midnight). A maximum of two Fellowships (clinical or research) of maximum 5000€ each will be awarded. The announcement of the prizes will take place at the symposium of 30 NOV 2024.
